REDPEAFOWL, Chapter 9: The Bail

   REDPEAFOWL, Chapter 9: The Bail

Lu Yipeng thought he was probably the world’s most handcuffed police officer, and it was best that no one ever found out. By the time he could finally close his eyes and fall asleep, it was almost dawn. When he woke up again, the sunlight was almost reaching the bed where he was lying. Turning around, he saw Hong Kongque half-sitting, half-lying beside him.

“Are you awake?” He asked. Lu Yipeng quickly sat up, and realized that the handcuff key was still missing.

Last night I caught the thief who broke into my bag. You’re welcome, inspector.” Hong Kongque said with a smile. Lu Yipeng tried to think hard and solve the problem, “Um. I already know. I think we can release him now, because you have kept him for one night.”

“No, inspector, we have to wait for someone to bail him out first.” Hong Kongque said, with a slight smile at the corner of his mouth. Lu Yipeng clenched his fists, wondering who this person really was, a policeman.

“I’ll bail him out myself.” Hong Kongque said.

“Proof for bail?” Hong Kongque asked, Lu Yipeng was a little suspicious as to who exactly was a policeman?

“I have a position.” Lu Yipeng said, shaking his head, “Not enough. This criminal is very dangerous. I think you need something else to bail him out.”

“What else?” Lu Yipeng asked persistently. Hong Kongque smiled mysteriously and raised his hand to touch his face, “I’ll give you three minutes to think about it.”

Lu Yipeng stood still for a few seconds. Then he lunged at Hong Kongque, intending to snatch the key in his shirt pocket. He was sure that this guy would not offer him a good deal to bail out. Better fight to the death than accept a bad deal. Both struggled on a bed, and in the end, the young police officer was still firmly held.

Lu Yipeng blushed as he was dragged to his feet by another person, trying to resist, while Hong Kongque used his free hand to grab his face, then leaned in and smiled slightly at the corner of his mouth, “Go back to being a captain for me one day, inspector, and I will release this suspect.”

Lu Yipeng shrugged reluctantly, “Fine.”

Hong Kongque smiled wider before releasing the handcuffs. Then he lightly slapped the young man’s cheek, “Go take a shower and get dressed. It’s almost time, captain.”

Lu Yipeng had been working for five years. He had never taken a break. This was his first hot break, and now the young police officer was spending time and effort maneuvering the sailboat to catch the wind and continue sailing. With another person sitting sipping orange juice at the back of the boat.

Hong Kongque rented a large sailboat, and now he was comfortably lounging on a sunbed, watching the young man struggling to steer and force the boat to sail in the desired direction. Lu Yipeng wore only a short-sleeved shirt and shorts. Every time he moved, the hem of his shorts would rise, revealing faint red letters. Not to mention the beautiful muscles on his toned arms. When he moved the sailboat, it was impossible not to look.

Hong Kongque looked happily, sipped the orange juice on the table and enjoyed it truly. Meanwhile, other-person was sweating profusely due to the heat, cursing and muttering angrily as he tried to fix the boat.

Hong Kongque took another sip of the orange juice and adjusted his sunglasses. Then he spoke up, “That’s enough, captain. You can bring the sail down now or else we’ll float out into the Atlantic Ocean.”

Lu Yipeng wanted to argue that if they actually floated all the way to the

Atlantic Ocean, he would have to rewrite history, but he didn’t want to deal with the nonsense that came out of the annoying bird’s mouth.

“Kongque, come and help me out.” Lu Yipeng said, seeing the other-person comfortably sipping juice under the shade and leisurely letting him run back and forth, even allowing him to reduce the size of the boat.

“Um… Inspector-Lu, I usually want valuable assets worth hundreds of thousands of coins as collateral for a certain criminal’s bail. If you just come to be a captain for me, it’s enough bail for the criminal. But alright, fine, I’ll come help.” He said and reluctantly got up, walking over to assist Lu Yipeng, who was watching the other person walk towards them.

“Where exactly, inspector? I can’t jump up there and come help you.” He made a gesture to lift Lu Yipeng up and Lu Yipeng stared at him with clear eyes, pointing at a rope tied to the boat’s metal ring at the bottom, “Untie that for me.” He then went to untie the rope on the other side of the boat. When he came back, he saw Hong Kongque still standing there, so he had to speak up. “What now? Don’t tell me you can’t fix this mess. Even a nursery school kid can handle it.”

“Oh, no.” Hong Kongque said, pretending to be in pain, “I just remembered that the doctor ordered me not to bend over for too long. I can’t handle a big mess like that on my own. Pengpeng, please help.”

Lu Yipeng felt like kicking Hong Kongque for real. He had never seen someone complain of pain so easily. Once it became time to work, this peacock suddenly became sick.

“Go back and sit comfortably and drink your juice.” The young police officer said gently before bending down to untie the rope binding the boat. Hong Kongque walked back to his seat, lifted the glass and drank as if nothing had happened.

“Pengpeng, where are you going? Come and have a drink before you go.” Hong Kongque called out as Lu Yipeng finished lowering the boat and made a move to enter the cabin. Lu Yipeng looked up at him for a moment before answering, “It’s okay. I’ll go drink in the cabin.”

“In the cabin, there is no water at all. I’ve brought it all up already.” Hong Kongque said, and he gently tapped the large leaf ice bucket next to Lu Yipeng. Finally, Hong Kongque walked back up, poured himself another glass of orange juice, and placed it on the table next to Lu Yipeng who slowly lowered himself into the chair placed on the other side and picked up the glass of orange juice,

“Thank you… but you probably did put medicine in it.” He said, and eyed Hong

Kongque suspiciously from the corner of his eye, the accused person responded, “Do you see me holding onto anything else?”

Lu Yipeng looked and then sighed before raising the glass of orange juice to drink. Then he lay down, listening to the gentle sound of the waves. It sounded relaxing in the sea, the young police officer closed his eyes, trying to find as much happiness as possible in the peace in front of him, before some madman ruined it.

Hong Kongque sat for a while. Then he stood up, put on the straw hat he had just bought, and went out to stroll by the boat deck. When he saw another person get up, Lu Yipeng couldn’t help but glance surreptitiously, in case the bird might do something strange while he was distracted.

Hong Kongque walked out to the boat deck. He wore a white short-sleeved shirt over a white long-sleeved t-shirt, shorts, and flip-flops. After putting on the straw hat like that, it looked strangely coordinated. Lu Yipeng watched Hong Kongque as he walked back and forth along that way. He walked back and forth a couple of times. Eventually, he walked back into the new shade. Then he took out a bottle of sunscreen and took off his shirt.

Seeing this, Lu Yipeng couldn’t lie quietly anymore and had to ask, “What are you doing, old man? Sunbathing or something?”

Hong Kongque turned and smiled slightly, “I was thinking of going for a swim in the sea. Are you coming with me or not?”

Lu Yipeng blinked and looked at the man opposite, as if he had never heard such an ordinary question before. Hong Kongque looked at the young man for a moment before speaking again, “It’s the sea after all. If you don’t go in, why would you be here in the first place? If you don’t go in, I’ll have you watch over the boat alone.” He finished speaking and made a gesture to get up again, this time Lu Yipeng had to get up from his chair, “Wait.”

“?” Hong Kongque turned to look and stopped mid-sentence as Lu Yipeng asked, “I’ll go in. If I let you go alone and you end up drowning in it, it will be troublesome for me too.”

Hong Kongque smiled slightly at the corner of his mouth before leaving it at that. When the young police officer spoke up, “Sit down, I’ll help you apply sunscreen on your back.”

The sun was strong enough, with the sea breeze blowing, and they were in the shade. Lu Yipeng’s cheeks were still red. Hong Kongque saw this and his heart couldn’t help but ache.

This brat here…

Finally, the person in front of him agreed to sit down. Lu Yipeng could see that the bright red peafowl bird was truly a sight to behold. The details of it made him think that enduring the pain of being tattooed must be no small feat. The young police officer picked up a bottle of sunscreen, squeezed it onto his palm, and began rubbing it onto the back of the person in front of him, looking at the large bird with intricate details.

“Kongque, how long did it take to get this bird tattoo?” Lu Yipeng asked after applying half the sunscreen.

He heard Hong Kongque chuckle in response, “One day.”

Lu Yipeng swallowed nervously. He had never been tattooed, but knowing how painful it must be, compared to when he was ordered to take a hot iron to the leather-bound book on his legs, this bird with such intricate details. He didn’t know what would be more painful. This doctor must also have a strong heart to endure it.

“Uh… Did you use numbing cream or anything?” The young police officer asked Hong Kongque.

“In those days, they tough it out. Not like nowadays.” Hong Kongque chuckled. Lu Yipeng, who refused to give up easily, made a curious sound and asked, “So, more than thirty years ago, then?”

The person being asked chuckled and didn’t answer. The young police officer spoke again, “Normally, a person who goes through this, at least, would be around seventy-eight years old.”

Jokingly thinking that this guy must be over fifty years old by now, Hong Kongque smirked and smiled.

“Well, not everyone has to wait until they’re that old.”

Lu Yipeng widened his eyes in disbelief before bursting out, “Come on, are you telling me you got this tattoo when you were a baby.”

The other person chuckled approvingly, “Give it a little thought. I’ll go inform the police academy to reclaim the badge of honor, alright?”

Lu Yipeng made a puzzled face. This doctor never stopped teasing him about this issue, “Come on. I think you’re not over fifty but closer to fifty.”

“Hmm… Pengpeng…” Hong Kongque moaned before turning back, “I told you, you can tell someone’s age just by looking at their appearance. Who needs to look at birth years?” He raised his hand to his chin and pointed to Lu Yipeng, “Just look at yourself here. You look like you’re in your thirties to forties every time. Take care of yourself a bit.”

Lu Yipeng raised his hand and patted the hand holding his. Hong Kongque chuckled, “Have you applied sunscreen yet?”

“Already did.” Lu Yipeng said, pretending to pout. Hong Kongque chuckled again and continued, “Then, Inspector-Lu, turn around. I’ll help you apply some.”

“I… I don’t love looking beautiful like you do. Going to the beach, I would end up sunburnt.” Lu Yipeng said with a smile, quickly pushing the other person away.

“Who said we’re going swimming in the sea?”

The person who was pushed away chuckled, then got up and walked away.

Lu Yipeng raised his hand to rub his chin, thinking back to last night.

Hmmm… this Hong Kongque, where is he going to tease me now?

On the side of the ship, there was a long ladder for climbing up and down. So despite being in the water, Hong Kongque did not climb down the ladder. He leaped from the ship’s railings with a graceful posture like a gymnast. Lu

Yipeng couldn’t hold back and quickly shouted as he walked towards the ship’s railing.

“Hey, you there, this isn’t a gymnastics stage. You don’t have to show off your diving skills.”

Hong Kongque, who had just emerged from the crystal clear green sea, smiled at that remark, and spoke in a concerned tone, “Little Pengpeng, don’t need to imitate my cool moves. Find a rope, put on a life jacket, then slowly climb down the ladder. Little Pengpeng is afraid of water splashing, otherwise,

I’ll have to help you catch your breath again.”

Lu Yipeng chuckled before leaping towards Hong Kongque. The sound of the sea roaring was clearly heard as both wrestled in the water, taking turns to catch their breath. Eventually, Hong Kongque swam to the other side of the ship.

Lu Yipeng followed, quickly catching up and wrapping his arms around the other man. Hong Kongque chuckled, then tried to push him underwater. The two wrestled in the water once again. Lu Yipeng felt himself swallowing a lot of seawater, and eventually emerged, gasping for breath.

“Salty.” Hong Kongque said as he raised his eyebrows and licked his lips, making a face of disgust. Lu Yipeng, who was spitting out water through his nose, saw this and couldn’t help but chuckle, “The sea water is salty indeed.

Don’t act like a little kid.”

Hong Kongque glared at him and then replied, “Oh, the grown-ups must enjoy sea water through their noses like you, Pengpeng.”

Lu Yipeng raised his eyebrows at the person who just spoke, and then lunged towards Hong Kongque. From the other side, a young police officer swam towards the ladder on the opposite side, letting out a sigh and looking at the other person who seemed unfazed, “Here. Have you taken some kind of medication?”

Hong Kongque smiled mischievously and moved closer, “Pengpeng, if you agree to move in with me first. I’ll let you know what medication I took.”

Lu Yipeng looked at the other person before replying, “You should let me catch you first. I might want to stay with you.”

Hong Kongque chuckled and said, “Will you move in with me in jail then?”

Lu Yipeng didn’t answer, but reached out to grab the other person and leaned in to plant a kiss on their lips. Hong Kongque pushed him away slightly and patted his shoulder before climbing up the ladder. Lu Yipeng tried to grab the man climbing the ladder, but it was too late, so he hurriedly climbed up after him.

Hong Kongque had not yet climbed onto the boat. He was pushed from behind by Lu Yipeng, and the two rolled on the deck for a moment. Before the young police officer could flip over to press down on the other person for the first time, Hong Kongque chuckled mischievously, but before he could say anything, his lips were sealed with a kiss from the other person.

The midday sun was scorching, and Hong Kongque couldn’t handle the sun. He moved, pushing Lu Yipeng who was on top of him, rolling together. In the midst of it, each person tried to overpower the other with no one giving in. As they rolled and collided, hitting an ice bucket by chance, Hong Kongque happened to be at the bottom at that moment.

Lu Yipeng’s face turned bright red as he looked at the half-naked body beneath him. The young police officer was shocked, and when an ice cube gently touched his cheek, he looked down and saw Hong Kongque smiling at the corner of his mouth. He unknowingly reached out to pick up the ice cube from the bucket.

“It’s hot, Pengpeng. How about some ice?” The person lying down asked, but

Lu Yipeng didn’t reply. Instead, he held the ice in his hand, then put it in his mouth and licked it, ready with the ice cube along with the fingers of the other person, Hong Kongque.

Hong Kongque shivered and gasped, slapping the hand that was still holding the ice onto the wide back immediately. The ice melted rapidly upon contact with the warm skin of both parties as they rubbed against each other for a while.

Lu Yipeng then grabbed both arms of Hong Kongque, raised them up to his head, and planted a kiss once again.

Their tongues were nearly filling any empty space, the heated skin rubbing against each other becoming more and more hot. Lu Yipeng’s hand slid down, rubbing along the body, while Hong Kongque’s hand firmly gripped him, then pinched until it hurt.

The intense kiss nearly turned violent, both sides sucking on each other’s lips aggressively until they turned red and swollen. Lu Yipeng exhaled heavily before lifting the body slightly, then pulling off the other person’s shorts.

“Pengpeng, the condoms?” Hong Kongque asked. After the other person directly confronted Lu Yipeng, he looked at him as if he didn’t understand the question, then kissed down again, receiving a light slap on the cheek.

“Put on a condom, Inspector-Lu.” The other person spoke sternly, making Lu Yipeng frown. Seeing the other person looking somewhat annoyed, Hong

Kongque sighed and smiled, “Indeed. Weren’t you prepared at all?” He then reached out and grabbed a wallet from the jacket hanging on the chair nearby, taking out two condoms and tossing one to Lu Yipeng.

“Stop now, Inspector, there’s still time.” Hong Kongque said loudly, as he saw the other person looking surprised at the condoms that were thrown to him.

Lu Yipeng bit his lower lip before grabbing his waist.

“Really came prepared, huh?”

Hong Kongque chuckled as he tore open the condom packet, putting it on himself. The grandiosity of it made people feel a sense of warmth rising. When Lu Yipeng finished putting on the condom, he looked up and looked at the person lying down, then asked with a smirk,

“Need help putting on the condom, grandpa?”

Hong Kongque pushed him away with a loud grunt before tearing open the rubber condom packet and starting to put it on himself. He hadn’t finished putting it on yet when Lu Yipeng grabbed his hips and the aggressive push inside him caused him to gasp with a tingling sensation.

The sun was still shining boldly above their boat as Lu Yipeng maneuvered Hong Kongque to the side, lifting one leg up and placing it on his shoulder before thrusting in with a rhythmic motion, hearing moans from the person below.

Continuing for a while, Lu Yipeng started to intensify his desires, slowly drawing them into that small, narrow passage, swallowing the aggression in that wonderful way. The young police officer gasped, facing the intense squeezing force in that passage.

The sunlight continued to pour down as Lu Yipeng took control of Hong Kongque, tilting his face to the side, lifting one leg up against his shoulder, and thrusting in with a steady rhythm. Hearing moans softly in his throat, they continued for a while. Lu Yipeng grasped Hong Kongque’s waist before holding him face down and slammed into him again. After a while he laid him on his back and spread his legs wide and slammed inside Hong Kongque in a repeated rhythm.

Lu Yipeng paused, his lower body still tense, but the position had changed.

Hong Kongque raised his hand to stroke his face, “The floor is warm,

Pengpeng. Want to try moving inside the cabin?”

As Hong Kongque finished speaking, Lu Yipeng started thrusting down again, unable to speak a word, only sighing softly. He felt the warmth of the floor, but at a time like this, did this guy still care about such things? He didn’t want to think of it at all!

Hong Kongque curled up for a moment, sweat dripping down his face, dripping onto his stomach as he was lying beneath. After a moment of hesitation, he continued to move. The body above raised a glass of water to drink. This time, Lu Yipeng couldn’t take it anymore.

“Kongque, I see no problem right here!”

Hong Kongque looked at him strangely before speaking, “No, but it’s warm here, Pengpeng. You need to drink some water first.”

Lu Yipeng got up, and Hong Kongque quickly handed him the cup. The connecting part remained intact, not detached yet. Lu Yipeng took a sip of water before putting away the glass, embracing the body and immediately getting up.

Hong Kongque’s tightly wrapped arms around his body, along with the strong grip around his waist, before moaning as the other person began to walk tip-toeing.

“Cabin, Pengpeng.” Hong Kongque whispered to Lu Yipeng, furrowing his brow, before pushing his body against the wall at the back of the boat before reaching the cabin door, and then his body shuddered heavily as Hong Kongque traced his hands along the fiberglass wall, letting out a trembling moan.

Standing there in the sun for a while, Lu Yipeng finally agreed to go into the cabin, but before reaching the bed. He led his body against the wall once more, and heaved out as if unable to contain himself, or perhaps thinking of something absurd. Meanwhile, Hong Kongque moaned softly in his throat throughout.

Standing there until the boat’s wall was soaked with fluids, Lu Yipeng carried Hong Kongque to the bed. The two bodies moved closer together frantically. The sounds of moaning and heavy sighs sounded confusing. Lu

Yipeng pressed Hong Kongque’s hand down onto the bed, kissing the mouth that was moaning.

“Pengpeng, wake up.”

Lu Yipeng rubbed his brows, but still refused to open his eyes. He heard the call again, “Wake up, we’ll soon arrive at the shore.”

This time, the young police officer woke up immediately. Besides, the ceiling of the boat was covered in wood. He saw Hong Kongque dressed neatly, sitting smiling by his side.

“I understand that you, Pengpeng , are tired from playing such a naughty game, but it’s getting dark now, Pengpeng, you must sail the boat back to the shore first.”

Lu Yipeng’s cheeks turned crimson, even though the weather wasn’t hot anymore. He turned to ask Hong Kongque again, “What time is it?”

“Four o’clock.” He answered, then pulled his face closer to give a light kiss,

“What you did this afternoon was amazing, let’s continue a little later.”

Lu Yipeng blinked at the opposite side before pulling his body out, but as he sat up, he realized he wasn’t wearing any clothes. As he turned back, he saw Hong Kongque holding something in his hand.

“Whose underwear is this?”

Lu Yipeng reluctantly grabbed his pants back and his face turned red almost to the point of turning dark. ‘Oh my gosh! What did I do here? The desires of men’s lower regions are really scary.’ The young police officer thought, cursing losing his sense of self. He didn’t want to think back to what he had done before.

I feel like jumping into the ocean and dying for real!

Hong Kongque chuckled and looked at the young police officer who hurriedly put on his clothes and walked unsteadily back up.

The sun was setting and fortunately, there was still a breeze blowing, helping to bring the boat back to the shore. While Lu Yipeng was struggling to bring the boat back, Hong Kongque walked up from the cabin, camera in hand.

“Pengpeng, smile a little.” said Hong Kongque, raising the camera to take a picture while imitating a photographer, “Hey, if you have some free time, come help me bring the boat back to shore.”

Hong Kongque pressed the shutter loudly. Then he lowered the camera and scolded, “I was the one who was at the end of your merciless thrusting, Little

Pengpeng, are you going to continue using me or not?”

If he jumps over the spinning cask and does a triple backflip, he might be able to kick Hong Kongque in the face. Lu Yipeng wants to do it right now. The problem is, even if he can do it, kicking the doctor might not be a good idea. He might end up getting dragged into the acrobatic group instead.

Standing with clenched fists, grinding his teeth for a moment, Lu Yipeng turned back to focus on the boat. He let Hong Kongque enjoy taking pictures freely, according to the story.

After about five o’clock, the boat finally sailed back almost to the dock.

Hong Kongque still didn’t stop taking pictures. He seemed to want to take a picture of him. Of course, Lu Yipeng didn’t make a good face at the camera, so Hong Kongque didn’t take any good pictures. But seeing this stubborn peacock refusing to stop taking photos, the young police officer couldn’t help but ask, “Hey, stop taking pictures for a moment. It’s not a good photo no matter how many times you take it. Not even from me.”

Hong Kongque looked at him, then raised the camera to take another picture before smiling and responding, “It’s okay. You know you wouldn’t make that kind of face in anyone’s camera. It’s better this way.”

Lu Yipeng stared at him once and then blushed before feeling hot all over his face.

Oh my gosh!!

The sea breeze blew gently, sending the sailboat back towards the shore. Lu Yipeng remained on the boat, watching the hotel guests walking along the beach before being shocked by a sudden cold water splash to his face.

Hong Kongque stood beside him, holding a glass of orange juice. Lu Yipeng reached out to take it and said shortly, “Thank you.”

“Um…” The other person made a noise in their throat and then raised the glass to drink. The two stood quietly drinking the juice for a while before Lu Yipeng spoke up.

“Kongque, tonight I’d like to have a peaceful night, just one night.”

Hong Kongque turned his face back and smiled in response, “Um… last night I didn’t do anything either. It’s better to be cautious than sorry, inspector. Maybe there will be pickpocket criminals tonight. I’ll have to wake up to catch them.”

Lu Yipeng glared at the other person immediately. During this time, Hong Kongque chuckled heartily.

Damn it!!
